Ever since our invention of the first low-loader with open swivelling rear wheels in 1953, the Nooteboom EUROTRAILER low-loaders have been setting the trend in the special transport market. Since then many manufacturers have adopted our innovations.
Multitrailers

The Nooteboom MULTITRAILER semi low-loaders are multifunctional. Applications include the transport of excavators, shovels, road construction machinery, vessels, access platforms, crane parts, steel structures, concrete elements and windmill components such as generator housings, tower sections, rotor blades and hubs.
Teletrailers

With the Nooteboom TELETRAILER flatbed semi-trailers any self-supporting long load, from concrete and steel structures to rotor blades, can be transported with the greatest efficiency and at the lowest possible transport costs.
Megatrailers

The ultimate multifunctionality of the extendible Nooteboom MEGATRAILER enables transport operators to achieve maximum capacity utilization. The perfectly flat load floor without intersection or gooseneck together with a low loaded floor height of just 97cm makes it much more likely that a suitable return load can be found. So the number of ‘empty miles’ driven can be reduced considerably.

Supertrailer

Nooteboom SUPERTRAILER ASDV drawbar semi-lowloader are simple and effective transport solutions for up to approx. 32 tonnes of payload. They are often used by companies that transport their own equipment, such as earthmoving and road construction machinery, containers and building materials.

Accessories

The Nooteboom accessories can simply be added to your trailer if it has been prepared for this option. By means of the Vehicle Identification Number we can check whether this is the case.

Axles

Nooteboom trailers are generally equipped with axles from the brands SAF, BPW and Gigant. By means of the Vehicle Identification Number we can check which axles are used on your trailer.

Steering

The Nooteboom steering can be divided in 3 sub-categories with Nooteboom-specific hydraulic, mechanical and electric parts. By means of the Vehicle Identification Number we can check which system and parts are used on your trailer.

Hydraulic

The Nooteboom compensation is mainly a hydraulic system for our trailers. Of course we also have trailers with air suspension. By means of the Vehicle Identification Number we can check which system and parts are used on your trailer.

Electrics

The Nooteboom electrics mainly comprise lighting systems from the brand Hella, but Nooteboom specific parts are used too. By means of the Vehicle Identification Number we can check which system and parts are used on your trailer.

Pneumatic

The Nooteboom pneumatic system contains brake systems from the brand Wabco mostly, but we also use Nooteboom specific parts. By means of the Vehicle Identification Number we can check which system and parts are used on your trailer.

Overhaul of EURO Low Loader for the Dutch Royal Army

Nooteboom Trailers Service specialises not only in service, damage repairs, and modifications but also in complete overhauls of all brands. We bring your vehicle up to date.

The Royal Netherlands Army Props Committee (RCKL) transports military equipment from the Historical Collections of the Royal Netherlands Army throughout the country. Within the Netherlands, they primarily manage the transport themselves. One of their trailers, the EURO low loader, recently underwent a significant overhaul. The trailer was expertly dismantled and then rebuilt according to the latest technological standards. This process took us 16 weeks at our branch in Wijchen.

The trailer after overhaul

nieuwpngMAN-Nooteboom-Euro-83-04-CenturionTank — The renewed low loader is going back to work at the Bernhard Barracks for the first time. For this special occasion, the trailer is loaded with an old Centurion battle tank from the 1950s.

“It can easily last another 20 years now.”

Bob Burks, our Sales Manager Service, supervised this project and, along with his team, is satisfied with the end result. The entire chassis has been thoroughly inspected and received a new coating.

Mr. Santes (Chairman of RCKL) smiles broadly as he hears this. He nods and emphasises once again how important the low loader is to their organisation. “It is truly a unique vehicle because it can handle not only normal loads but also extra high loads. In terms of weight, it can carry a lot, allowing us to transport heavier vehicles for the organic army units as well.

This means we don’t need to hire an external party, which saves a significant amount of budget. Especially considering that we drive about 60 to 70 thousand kilometers per year with it.”

Extend the economic lifespan of your trailer as well. Adapt your trailer to the (new) requirements of modern road transport. Think of hydraulic ramps, GSM control, or blasting, thermal spraying, and painting. After an overhaul, your vehicle is as good as new.
