New MANOOVR 3+7 with Multidolly

The introduction of the Manoovr MPL semi low-loader in October 2015 was extremely successful. In just a few months more than 250 axle lines have been sold and delivered, accross many countries in Europe. The advantages of the Manoovr are an extremely low load floor of 780mm, the high legal axle load of 12 tonnes/axle line, the generous suspension travel of 500mm, a tyre life that will last for at least 300.000 km and the favourable ‘total cost of ownership’.

West of Scotland heavy Haulage adds MANOOVR to its fleet

UK transport specialists West of Scotland Heavy Haulage has taken delivery of Nootebooms’ latest semi lowloader ‘the Manoovr’ as well as two Mercedes-Benz Arocs tractor units. The Manoovr (type MPL-114-07) is the first of its kind in Scotland and has a 100-tonne capacity. It features an adjustable platform height. In the lowest position the deck height is only 780mm and can be raised – for maximum ground clearance – up to 1280mm. Further unique features are the unique suspension and the extreme manoeuvrability up to a maximum of 70 degree steering angle. The pendulum axles allow a load of 12 tonnes per axle and a bed that can be extended from 12 to 30.35 metres.

The new trailers are robust, innovative and designed specifically to meet the requirements of the exceptional transport industry. The semi-low loader features unique suspension and a 70 degree steering angle on pendulum axles, allowing an axle load of 12tons, the highest permitted in Europe. More importantly, the MANOOVR is the only semi low-loader that can actually get a 12t. axle load in Netherlands. This is the most modern equipment, and comes with all the newest safety features available.

Latest Nooteboom MANOOVR Semi Low-loader for van Wijgerden Transport

Rinus van Wijgerden has been a loyal customer of Nooteboom Trailers for 30 years. Van Wijgerden is always at the forefront with his investment in innovative transport solutions. As is the case with the EURO-PX low-loader, the MULTI-PX semi low-loader and now the Manoovr semi low-loader. A few months ago the first 6-axle Manoovr was delivered and the next one, with 4 axles, will follow soon. Rinus: “The Manoovr is the only semi low-loader that effectively gives us a 12-tonne axle load, also in the Netherlands. Apart from these two Manoovr semi low-loaders a 2-axle Pendel-X has been ordered. For this one we gave our first Nooteboom, 30 years old, in part exchange. The trade-in price? Royal Nooteboom Trailers has won the SV innovation award
October 2015
Royal Nooteboom Trailers has won the SV Innovation Award 2015. According to the panel of expert judges the MANOOVR has scored the highest, particularly in the category ‘innovation for the user’. The award was presented by Jarco the Bruin, commercial director ING Lease Nederland, to general manager Marinka Nooteboom during the opening of the BedrijfsautoRAI 2015. The SV Innovation Award is an initiative of the Special Vehicles department of the RAI Vereniging and is sponsored by ING Lease.

The MANOOVR Multi-PL is the latest generation of Nooteboom semi low-loaders. Unique features are the ultra-low floor height and the high maximum permissible axle load. The combination of a floor height of 780mm with at least 12 tonnes per axle line throughout Europe – including the Netherlands – makes the MANOOVR exceptional. At the next BedrijfsautoRAI, taking place from 20 to 24 October in Amsterdam, the MANOOVR Multi-PL will be launched as a world first and is bound to be the centre of attention at the Nooteboom stand.

Nooteboom Euro-PX 2+5 and Volvo FM 5-axle Heavy Transport Tractor for Boer B.V.

Boer B.V. from Meerkerk recently put into service their first Volvo FM 5-axle heavy transport tractor with 540 hp and GCW of 150 tonnes. The tractor has air suspension all around and is equipped with a 9-tonne lift axle with air suspension so that the combination is extremely manoeuvrable. The vehicle will be used to transport equipment such as pile drivers. For this purpose they opted for an ultra-low cab height. The Volvo FM was supplied by the Volvo Group Truck Center from Gorinchem in the Netherlands.

Six Nooteboom Super Wing Carriers for Laso Transportes SA

LASO Transportes SA from Malveira in Portugal has strengthened their fleet for the transport of windmills with no less than 6 Super Wing Carriers for the transport of ultra-long rotor blades, as well as a significant number of extendible 4-axle semi low-loaders. All the SWC Super Wing Carriers have been delivered and are in full swing. In the last 6 months LASO has made an investment of 9 million Euros on 70 Nooteboom trailers and new trucks, amongst them the new Mercedes SLT to 250 Tons.

Lensveld Transport ordered 10 Nooteboom Teletrailers

Lensveld Transport from Vlaardingen has ordered ten new Teletrailers of the type O-45-03V from Nooteboom Trailers. This order is a continuation of the 15 Teletrailers that were added to the Lensveld fleet in 2013. Lensveld often uses the semi-trailers for the transport of large pipes. These single extendible trailers are robust, easy to operate and require little maintenance: all these are features that will lead to an extremely long life for the trailers.

Nooteboom MCOS Semi Low-loader makes switching to hydraulic steering easier

The latest generation MCOS semi low-loaders with hydraulic steering are the optimal transport solution for the transport of medium-weight machinery (up to 47 tonnes) that is fast, cost-effective and safe. Until recently the switch from self-steering axles to hydraulic steering required considerably more investment. But within their SMART programme Nooteboom has made this a much more attractive proposition. Since the successful introduction of the MCOS semi low-loaders the market share for this vehicle has increased significantly and interest is still growing. KWS Infra too has recently put into operation their first 4-axle MCOS-58-04(EB) hydraulically steered semi low-loader.
