Nooteboom has adapted its organisation from the outset when the first messages regarding the corona virus measures were communicated by the government, in such a way that we can guarantee the safety of our employees and that we can continue working within Nooteboom. This means that our sales department, our production, our service , our trailer delivery and spare parts are all operational. We would like to thank our suppliers for delivering the materials needed to keep our production flowing.
We have deliberately opted for a sustainable solution, partly because we expect that the current situation will not change quickly and we have to maintain this process for as long as needed. The investments we have made in our production facilities to create more flexibility and increase the agility of our employees, has proven to be an important factor in quickly adapting our organisation to the current conditions.
During this situation it is of vital importance to focus on the long term future and continue to work on the development of product innovations. With our long term focus we also have our own ideas of what the period after this crisis might look like and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this in more detail with you.
Despite all the trouble, we also experience very positive results. We see our customers also have long term vison like us. Using this period for servicing or overhauling their trailers.
