The 42nd edition of the Truckstar Mack & Special Transport Day will start on Sunday, October 8. True to tradition, Nooteboom, as one of the main sponsors, will of course be present again with a nice line-up of various trailer combinations. The Mack & Special Transport Day is one of the largest events for trucks, cranes and special transport in Europe and attracts around 10,000 visitors every year.

Collé Rental & Sales places mega order with Nooteboom

Collé Rental & Sales, specialized in the rental, sales and service of machines and equipment for the construction industry, has placed a mega order with Nooteboom Trailers. The delivery includes 26 units of 3- and 4-axle semi-low loaders with self-steering axles from the Nooteboom SMART program. Through hired charters, Collé has had very positive feedback about the Nooteboom semi low loaders in recent years, which made Collé decide to award this mega order to Nooteboom.

New: Nooteboom tridem centre axle drawbar trailer

The latest addition to the Nooteboom drawbar semi low loader range is the 3-axle drawbar with centre axles and air suspension. This trailer, type ASDS-33-03(EB), is extremely suitable for the transport of smaller and medium-sized machines. This type of trailer is mainly used in countries such as France, Belgium and Scandinavia.

Ron Deelen new chairman of the Supervisory Board of Nooteboom Trailers

Ron Deelen has been appointed as new chairman of the Supervisory Board of Nooteboom Trailers BV with effect from 1 July. He succeeds Henk Riemens, who retires after 21 years as a member of the Supervisory Board, the last 13 years of which as chairman. As an experienced general manager in the international Automotive world, Ron brings valuable experience for Nooteboom in strategic, commercial and organizational areas.

Nooteboom supplies 10 new semi lowloaders to Bolk Transport
June 2020
Dutch haulier Bolk Transport has made a major investment of in total 10 Nooteboom semi lowloaders to strengthen their trailer fleet. Delivery of the 2- and 3-axle extendible Multitrailers has been started. The first MCO-38-02V/L with power steered axles and manual steering was collected last week. This ultra-short semi lowloader is mainly used for transporting cable drums.

Nooteboom specialist for the Crane Industry – Design for purpose

Sotiris Kanaris visits Nooteboom’s manufacturing plant and talks to Harm van de Logt, sales manager for Benelux, about the company’s products for the crane industry. The relationship between Nooteboom and the crane industry goes back to 1936, when Anton Nooteboom built a hydraulic crane on a Ford V8 chassis. In the fifties, the company expanded its offering with the introduction of low-loaders. It built its first low loader in 1953, to meet the demand for construction machinery transportation to Zeeland, for the province’s reconstruction after a severe flood. When the next order was received, Anton Nooteboom had the idea to equip the low-loader with axles that could swivel. The first lowloader with pendle axles was born.

The TELETRAILER LONGRUNNER is the latest generation of lightweight extendible flatbed Nooteboom trailers. Available with 2 or 3 hydraulically steered axles and with a single or double extendible load floor, extending up to a maximum length of 30m. The LONGRUNNER is particularly suitable for the transport of long self-supporting loads such as steel and concrete structures, but also for the transport of containers.
