For both parties this led to a satisfactory solution which gives Faymonville the right to produce and market trailers that feature the combination of a deep excavator trough with pendle axles. For this Faymonville has paid Nooteboom an appropriate remuneration.
This outcome is in accordance with the vision of both Nooteboom and Faymonville where it concerns the importance and application of patents. Both companies invest heavily in innovation and share the opinion that patents are crucial to enable them to continue to invest in renewal. That’s why Nooteboom is open to make their patented technology available to others too. This will also advance the transport sector as a whole.
Nooteboom and Faymonville regret the perception that has been created after the recent incorrect reports in the various media.
